One day, Squeaky was playing in the bathtub when he saw something out of the corner of his eye. It was a big bowl of soup, sitting on the counter. Squeaky had never seen soup before, and he was curious. He swam over to the bowl and took a peek inside.
The soup was hot and steamy, and it smelled delicious. Squeaky couldn't resist, and he jumped right in.
SPLASH!
The soup was even better than it smelled. Squeaky swam around, splashing and playing in the soup. He ate all the noodles and vegetables, and he even drank some of the broth.
But then, Squeaky started to feel a little strange. His tummy started to hurt, and he felt like he was going to explode.
"Oh no!" said Squeaky. "I'm going to burst!"
Squeaky tried to swim to the edge of the bowl, but he was too full of soup. He couldn't move.
Just then, Squeaky's friends, the plastic boat and the rubber frog, came to his rescue. They swam over to the bowl and helped Squeaky out.
"Are you okay?" asked the plastic boat.
"I don't think so," said Squeaky. "My tummy hurts."
"I know what will help," said the rubber frog. "Let's take you to the doctor."
So the plastic boat and the rubber frog took Squeaky to the doctor. The doctor gave Squeaky some medicine, and soon he was feeling much better.
Squeaky learned his lesson that day. He never jumped into a bowl of soup again. But he did learn to love soup, and he always ate it with a spoon.
The end.
