The Maths SATs are graded on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the lowest grade and 5 being the highest grade.

How to Improve Your Child's Maths Skills

There are a number of things that you can do to help your child improve their Maths skills.

  • Encourage your child to practice Maths regularly. The more your child practices, the better they will become at Maths.
  • Make Maths fun for your child. There are a number of ways to make Maths fun, such as playing Maths games, using Maths apps, and solving Maths puzzles.
  • Help your child understand Maths concepts. If your child is struggling with a particular Maths concept, take the time to explain it to them in a way that they can understand.
  • Encourage your child to ask questions. If your child is not sure about something, encourage them to ask you or their teacher for help.
  • Provide your child with positive reinforcement. When your child does well in Maths, be sure to praise them for their effort and success.
