Two of the Three Gifts

The old man greeted Anya with a warm smile. "My dear girl," he said, "I have been expecting you." Anya was surprised, but she sat down beside the old man and listened to what he had to say.
"I have three gifts for you," the old man said. "The first gift is the gift of beauty. It will make you the most beautiful woman in the land." Anya's heart skipped a beat. She had always dreamed of being beautiful.
"The second gift is the gift of wealth," the old man continued. "It will make you the richest woman in the land." Anya's eyes widened with amazement. She had always dreamed of being wealthy.
"The third gift," the old man said, "is the gift of wisdom. It will make you the wisest woman in the land." Anya hesitated. She had never thought much about wisdom, but she knew that it must be a good thing.
"I will take the first two gifts," Anya said. "But I am not sure about the third gift." The old man smiled. "You will understand the value of the third gift in time," he said. "Now, go and enjoy your gifts." Anya thanked the old man and returned to the village.
Anya used her first two gifts to her advantage. She became the most beautiful and the richest woman in the land. She had everything she could ever want, but she was not happy. She felt empty inside.
One day, Anya went back to the forest to visit the old man. "Why am I not happy?" she asked. "You have everything you could ever want," the old man said. "But you do not have the gift of wisdom. Wisdom is the key to true happiness."
Anya realized that the old man was right. She had been so focused on her beauty and her wealth that she had forgotten about wisdom. She begged the old man to give her the third gift.
The old man smiled. "I will give you the third gift," he said. "But you must promise to use it wisely." Anya promised, and the old man gave her the gift of wisdom.
Anya used her wisdom to help others. She became a healer, a teacher, and a wise counselor. She used her wealth to help the poor and the needy. And she used her beauty to bring joy to the hearts of those around her.
Anya lived a long and happy life. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. And she was always grateful for the three gifts that the old man had given her.
The first two gifts were a blessing, but the third gift was a true treasure. It was the gift of wisdom, and it taught Anya the true meaning of happiness.
